We’re delighted to announce that Scottish singer-songwriter Callum Beattie will headline Heartland Festival on Saturday 26th June 2027.

Making his first-ever appearance at Heartland, Callum will bring his uplifting, anthemic sound to the festival for what promises to be an unforgettable Saturday night in the heart of Perthshire.

Born in Edinburgh and raised in Musselburgh, Callum creates powerful music rooted in honesty and real-life experience. His songs explore love, ambition, vulnerability and the moments that shape us, combining heartfelt lyrics with memorable melodies and a natural ability to connect with an audience.

Callum released his debut single, “We Are Stars”, in 2017 before introducing his first album, People Like Us, in 2020. His second album, VANDALS, followed in 2023 and reached number one on both the Scottish album chart and the national iTunes chart. Songs including “Some Heroes Don’t Wear Capes”, “Heart Stops Beating” and “Salamander Street” have helped establish him as one of Scotland’s most distinctive contemporary songwriters.

His reputation as an outstanding live performer has continued to grow, culminating in a headline concert at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro in front of around 12,000 people, a sold-out show at Edinburgh Castle and an appearance at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

With his unmistakably Scottish voice, engaging personality and powerful catalogue of songs, Callum Beattie is the perfect artist to lead our Saturday night celebrations at Heartland 27.
