Heartland is a festival for the whole family. Our dedicated Little Heartlanders area gives younger festivalgoers plenty to enjoy, with activities, entertainment and space to have fun. From fairground rides and bouncy castles to dedicated children’s activities, there will be lots for families to discover throughout all three days of Heartland 27.

There’s plenty of fun waiting for our Little Heartlanders, with a selection of traditional fairground rides to enjoy throughout the festival weekend.
From taking in the view at the top of the Ferris wheel to enjoying the twists and turns of the rides below, it’s a great opportunity for families to make even more memories together. Full details of the rides and attractions available at Heartland 27 will be shared nearer the festival.

We know that children don’t always want to spend the whole day watching the stages, so Heartland 27 will offer a range of activities and entertainment to keep our Little Heartlanders busy throughout the weekend.
Across all three days, there will be opportunities for children to play, get involved and enjoy something a little different between the music. From creative activities and interactive entertainment to plenty of light-hearted festival fun, the aim is to give younger visitors lots to look forward to while helping the whole family enjoy their time together at Heartland.

Children need plenty of energy for a full day at Heartland, so we’ll have a selection of suitable, affordable food available in smaller portions for younger festivalgoers.
Alongside healthier choices and familiar family favourites, there will also be ice creams, sweets and other treats for those little rewards throughout the weekend. Whether it’s a quick snack between activities or something more filling, families will have plenty of options while enjoying everything happening in the Little Heartlanders area.

FUN
Our friends at Bruce Entertainment have been part of Heartland since the very beginning, bringing plenty of bouncy fun to the festival each year. As a local company, they know exactly how to keep our Little Heartlanders entertained throughout the weekend.
There will be bouncy castles suitable for different ages, alongside an inflatable assault course, the popular Cannonball Swing and other inflatable attractions to enjoy. Pre-purchased wristbands will once again be available, helping families plan ahead and make the most of the activities. Full details and wristband information will be released nearer the festival.
