We are delighted to announce that The Killing Tide will return to Heartland on Saturday 26 June 2027.

The four-piece rock band from North-East Scotland made their Heartland debut on the Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage in 2026, delivering the passionate and energetic performance for which they have become known.

Inspired by the rugged coastline of their home, The Killing Tide combine towering guitars, marching drums and heartfelt vocals to create an anthemic sound filled with emotion. Their music moves effortlessly from quieter moments of reflection into powerful, soaring choruses.

The band’s self-recorded tracks have received support from BBC Introducing, helping to establish them as one of Scotland’s most exciting emerging acts.

Their debut album, Carry Us Across the Sea, was released in early 2026 and showcases their distinctive blend of alternative and Scottish-inspired rock. The Killing Tide have also performed alongside artists including Big Country, Mànran and Torridon as their live following continues to grow.

After a fantastic reception on the Discovery Stage, we look forward to welcoming The Killing Tide back to Heartland 27 on Saturday 26 June.
