We’re delighted to share that the full lineup for the Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage at Heartland Festival 2026 has now been announced.

On behalf of the Heartland Festival team, we couldn’t be happier with how the Discovery Stage has come together this year. The standard of talent across Scotland continues to be exceptional, and the final lineup reflects the depth, diversity and creativity of the emerging artists performing across the weekend.

A huge amount of credit must go to Marion McDonald, our Artist Liaison for the Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage, whose dedication and passion have been instrumental in shaping this year’s programme.

Marion shared:

“Over the last two to three years, we’ve had hundreds and hundreds of applications for the Discovery Stage, which just shows how much talent there is across Scotland. Narrowing that down to just 14 artists is never an easy task. I’ve loved getting out to gigs around the country to see artists playing live — it’s so important to experience them properly rather than just relying on social media. Being able to talk to artists face-to-face, tell them a little more about the Heartland Festival and getting to know them has been brilliant. Creating this lineup for the second stage has been incredibly rewarding and I cannot wait”

The Discovery Stage remains a vital part of Heartland Festival — a space dedicated to spotlighting new voices and giving artists the opportunity to perform in front of an engaged, supportive audience.

We’re extremely grateful for the work that’s gone into bringing this lineup together and can’t wait to see these artists take to the Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage in Pitlochry.
