Parking Update for 2026

by: Simon Clark

26 March 2026

We would like to provide you with an important update regarding the change to parking arrangements for Heartland Festival 2026.

When tickets were first released for 2026, on-site parking was made available in good faith based on the expectation that the land previously used for parking would remain accessible. However, due to Tesco’s redevelopment of the land, this is no longer available to us. This was something we became aware of several months ago, which is why we decided to stop selling any additional on-site parking tickets to avoid creating additional issues.

As a result, of our full review, we can confirm that there will be no on-site parking at the festival in Pitlochry for 2026.

We understand this is a significant change, and over the past few months, our team has worked hard to explore a range of options to find the best possible approach for our festival goers and supporters.

We’re pleased to say we have now secured what we believe is the best possible option, a dedicated Park and Ride service for the festival.

The Park and Ride is located at Ballinluig, Pitlochry (PH9 0LQ), just 4.8 miles south of the festival site. Buses will run on a continuous loop throughout the day, transporting festival goers to and from Pitlochry, with drop-off and collection points just a short walk from the festival.

The service will run from Friday 26th June to Sunday 28th June 2026.

We have already contacted all customers who had booked on-site parking directly by email.

We’d like to thank everyone for their understanding and continued support while we worked through this change. We’re confident that the Park and Ride will provide a smooth and convenient alternative for those travelling by car.
