HF - March 2026 Update

Our March 2026 Update

by: Simon Clark

28 February 2026

We’re getting closer and closer to the big weekend, and we’re still deep in the planning for the festival. February seemed to fly by after a long (and dark) January, and the countdown is now well and truly on. Here’s a roundup of everything Heartland-related from the last few weeks.

It’s awards week!

On Thursday evening, we’ll be heading to Glasgow for the Scottish Live Music Awards 2025, where we’re shortlisted for ‘Festival of the Year’.

We’ll be sharing updates across our social channels, so keep an eye out. It’s a real honour to have made the final shortlist and, whatever the outcome, we’re incredibly proud of what’s been achieved in our first couple of years. None of this would be possible without your continued support — so thank you and wish us luck.

Nibbles and snacks

We asked, and we listened.

Following the hugely successful 2025 festival, we gathered feedback through social media and our post-event survey. We read every comment and identified a few key areas for improvement to enhance your experience.

One of the main topics raised was food. Unlike many festivals that don’t allow food to be brought in — or prevent re-entry — we’ve updated our policy for 2026 to allow festivalgoers to bring in small nibbles and snacks. Full details can be found in the blog article we published on 13 February 2026.

Replay Festival in Perth

Who would have thought that Natalie Imbruglia and Blue would be coming to Perthshire this summer? Replay is shaping up to be a real feel-good, nostalgic weekend, and ticket sales are going really well.

If you have no plans for the middle weekend of August, we’d love you to join us in Perth. Find out more and see the full line-up via our website.

Emerald Sunday

Around the same time as our snack’s announcement, we received the sad news that Emerald Sunday had decided to fold and would be unable to fulfil their Main Stage slot on Sunday.

We shared this update and were overwhelmed by the response, with hundreds of comments and artist suggestions. We’re currently in discussions with a replacement and will be making an announcement very soon. Watch this space.

Marti Pellow

We’re still receiving comments and messages from people who can’t quite believe Marti Pellow is coming to Pitlochry — but it’s absolutely true.

Thousands of tickets have already been sold for the Friday night, which will also feature Cammy Barnes, Billy Reekie and Katie Nicoll. If you haven’t secured your Friday night ticket yet, now’s the time. Full details are available on our website here.

HF Weekend Tickets

Weekend ticket sales remain strong, and it’s shaping up to be another very busy year. We’ll know more as we get closer, but it’s clear that weekend tickets remain the most popular option.

Your weekend ticket also includes access to all 14 artists performing on the Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage — making it 28 artists across the weekend.

Digital advertising packages

Last week, we shared details of new partner opportunities for businesses looking to gain additional exposure across the festival weekend.

We’re delighted to say that a number of local and regional businesses have already signed up, and you’ll see them featured across our three large on-site screens during the festival.

Yes — three big screens this year.

If you’d like to find out more about our digital advertising packages, head to our website or get in touch with Simon Clark for further details.

That’s all from us for now. Please make sure you’re following us on Facebook to keep up to date with all the latest Heartland news and announcements.
