[ARTISTS ANNOUNCEMENT] – Scratchcard Wednesday
by: Simon Clark
As we continue building towards #HF26, we wanted to share an important line-up update for Sunday.
Unfortunately, Emerald Sunday are no longer able to perform at this year’s festival. While it was disappointing news, it also gave us the opportunity to find a standout replacement — and we’re delighted to confirm that Scratchcard Wednesday will now be joining us at the Heartland Festival 2026.
Sales & Marketing Director, Simon Clark, said:
“It was sad to learn that Emerald Sunday were no longer able to perform for us this year and we knew we’d have to find an excellent replacement — and we believe we have done just that with Scratchcard Wednesday. These guys are growing in popularity every day and have now amassed hundreds of thousands of followers in a very short space of time. We’re confident everyone is going to love their sound and energy.”
Scratchcard Wednesday are a Scottish pop duo made up of vocalist Tyrese Ojo and multi-instrumentalist Dexter Brady. Born and raised in Glasgow, the city plays a huge role in shaping their sound and songwriting.
The duo have already racked up some impressive milestones, including supporting Professor Green at Glasgow’s SWG3 and headlining — and selling out — the iconic King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut. Their infectious energy, modern pop sound, and fast-growing fanbase make them an exciting addition to the Sunday line-up.
We can’t wait to welcome Scratchcard Wednesday to Pitlochry on Sunday 28th June 2026 as they make their Heartland Festival debut.
