HF - February 2026 Update

Our February 2026 Update

by: Simon Clark

01 February 2026

Hello and welcome to our February 2026 update.

We’ll try to keep this one short – unlike the long month of January! It’s been another busy few weeks behind the scenes, and we’re now just five months away from the Heartland Festival weekend.

We hope you’re as excited as we are. If you haven’t got your tickets yet, now’s the time – you’re not going to want to miss it.

We’ve Made the Shortlist!

Last week, we received some incredible news. Back in December, we let you know that Heartland Festival had made the longlist for ‘Festival of the Year’ at the 2025 Scottish Live Music Awards. We were honoured just to be in the mix.

Well… we’re now officially on the shortlist of five!

To be recognised at this level, just two years after our very first festival, is an achievement we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve booked our train, hotel and tickets for the awards night, which takes place on Thursday 5th March in Glasgow. We’re up against some fantastic festivals, but we’re in with a real chance. Wish us luck!

Final Ticket Tier Incoming

As we announced recently, Tier 4 – our final ticket pricing tier – will come into effect on Monday 16th February. This will also be the price on the day if we’re not sold out by then.

We’ve given as much notice as possible to help people secure tickets at the best possible price. Sales are ahead of this time last year, and weekend tickets are still great value – plus under 13s remain completely free! Get your tickets here.

An Evening with Marti Pellow

Sales for our Friday night show are flying too. Tickets for An Evening with Marti Pellow are just £39, and the lineup includes amazing support from Cammy Barnes, Billy Reekie and Katie Nicoll. It’s shaping up to be a truly memorable night – don’t leave it too late to book.

Citylink Discovery Stage Lineup Complete

Our second stage lineup is now locked in – and what a lineup it is! Huge thanks to Marion McDonald, our brilliant Artist Liaison, for curating such a fantastic spread of up-and-coming talent.

The Citylink Discovery Stage continues to grow in popularity, with 14 Scottish artists performing this year. Who will make the leap to our main stage in 2027?

97% Scottish

We couldn’t sign off this update without sharing a stat we’re proud of. This year, 96.7% of all acts performing at Heartland Festival are Scottish – across both stages and all three days. The only exception is Starsailor, whom we simply couldn’t turn down.

In 2024, we had 24 Scottish acts. In 2025, we had 25. And in 2026, it’s 31 out of 32. We believe this commitment to homegrown music is part of the reason we’ve been shortlisted for Festival of the Year.

One Wee Favour

As many of you know, we’ve also launched a second event – Replay Festival, taking place in August at South Inch Park in Perth. It’s the same team behind Heartland, with a throwback vibe and an exciting pop/nostalgia lineup.

If you have a moment, we’d really appreciate it if you could visit our Facebook page and share one of the Replay posts. Every single share helps more than you know.

That’s all for now – we’ll be back next month with more updates as we edge even closer to #HF26.

Thanks for being part of it.
