News coming in overnight and what amazing news this is for one of our Discovery artists. On behalf of everyone here at The Heartland Festival, we would like to congratulate The Crom for winning ‘Best Band 2025’ at The 8th Annual Radio Wigwam Awards.

In a social media post from Radio Wigwam, they said “A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who attended, tuned in live, and supported independent music. Your dedication and passion have been the driving force behind this celebration of creativity and talent”

The Heartland Festival caught up with Alan Sweeney, from The Crom, who said “To win Best Band is everything to us. We’re just 4 guys from Perth making music. I’d like to thank everyone who voted for us in December”
