The Outskirts
The Outskirts are an acoustic trio based in Perthshire who have been jamming together through the early hours around kitchen tables since they met as teenagers.
Bonding over a love for all things music and lager, they stayed friends but the songs never developed past after parties. After a few years playing music separately they decided to take a gig in a local pub and haven’t looked back since, making a name for themselves in the Perthshire and Glasgow pub scene.
With 2 years of gigging and 30 minutes of practice under their belt, they started writing together across the same kitchen tables they shared cans over years ago. They made their festival debut opening the discovery stage at last year’s Heartland Festival, their first time playing original songs.
It went down a treat and they cant wait to return with new music and new shoes. Dishing out big tunes and shite patter, they’re not to be missed. If you are a fan of country & indie melodies, bands falling out on stage and nice haircuts, get down early for The Outskirts.

White China
Formed in the early 1980’s, in times of big hair and white trousers, Scottish new wave quintet White China released two well received singles on Island Records. As “Real World” and “Smiles and Jokes” tantalised the charts and airwaves around the globe, the band quickly built up a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting young live bands, earning themselves a devout international following, after two major tours with fellow Scots, Big Country.
40 something years later, after several periods of hiatus, White China are back, stronger, (sort of) wiser, and with less need of hairspray, but with darker trousers. And, of course, they continue to delight audiences wherever they play with their tight, energetic performances and tall tales to tell, in between which they are working on dynamic new material for release in 2025. White China says: "These could be THE BEST OF TIMES!!" White China are:
Pete Chambers (vocals, guitar)
Jeff Bernstein (keyboards)
Kenny Graham (drums)
