Introducing Rebecca Connelly – Performing on Sunday 28 June 2026 on the Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage.

Arbroath-born singer-songwriter Rebecca Connelly brings a rich, lived-in sound shaped by years of international experience and deeply honest storytelling. Blending pop, country and rock, her music has connected with audiences from Southern California to the Scottish Highlands, carried by a voice praised for its warmth, clarity and emotional depth.

Rebecca’s journey has taken her far beyond Scotland. After early performances alongside acts such as Dropkick and Tumnus, she moved to California, where she held a residency at Palm Springs’ Riviera Resort, performed for artists including Harrison Ford and Avril Lavigne, and was named Best Female Artist in the SoCal Music Live Competition. Her debut album Coming Home and EP Days Like This led to shows at the House of Blues in Hollywood and a Scottish tour featuring her US-based band.

Returning to Scotland in 2013, Rebecca reconnected with the local music scene, collaborating with Del Amitri keyboardist Andy Alston and appearing on The Coaltown Daisies’ acclaimed album Listen. Her second studio album California, released in 2020, earned a nomination for Best New Album at the Scottish Album of the Year Awards.

Following a short break from performing, Rebecca’s recent live return has included standout sets at Randan Festival and Bellrock Music Festival. She is currently writing her third album and co-directs Red Rock Music in Arbroath, supporting and mentoring emerging artists.
