We are delighted to announce that The Castros will return to Heartland on Sunday 27 June 2027.

The five-piece indie and alternative rock band from Fife made their Heartland debut on the Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage in 2026, bringing plenty of energy and swagger to their performance.

Formed by a group of friends in 2022, The Castros have quickly built a strong reputation across Scotland for their vibrant live shows and engaging stage presence.

Their growing profile has seen them secure support slots with Inspiral Carpets, The K’s, Shambolics and The LaFontaines.

Combining distinctive vocals, sparkling guitar melodies, powerful bass lines and versatile drumming, The Castros have created an original sound that draws inspiration from a wide range of genres.
