We are delighted to announce that Talisk will make their Heartland debut on the Main Stage on Friday 25 June 2027.

Talisk are a band we’ve been keen to bring to Heartland for some time, so we’re incredibly pleased to finally welcome the Scottish trio to the festival.

One of the most talked-about folk bands of their generation, Talisk have built a global following with their explosively energetic live performances. With more than 15 million streams, they’ve sold out shows across five continents and appeared at festivals around the world.

Featuring Mohsen Amini on concertina, Benedict Morris on violin and Charlie Galloway on guitar, the trio have collected numerous awards, including recognition from BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Scotland and the BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.

Their rise has also seen them perform to more than one million viewers on BBC One’s Hogmanay show and headline Glasgow’s iconic Barrowland Ballroom as part of Celtic Connections in 2024.

Known for pushing the boundaries of traditional folk music and producing an incredible sound from just three musicians, Talisk have developed a reputation as a formidable live act.

We can’t wait to finally welcome them to Heartland 27.
