Now bursting back onto the scene, Copper Lungs performed at Heartland Festival in Pitlochry in 2024, amongst a series of shows across Scotland, up next is the highly anticipated hometown headline show in Dundee. With the release of their first new single “Younger Heart,” Copper Lungs are set to unveil a plethora of new music throughout 2024, continuing with their next single “Falling,” dropping on July 12th.
‘Channelling more of that warm and uplifting pop-rock aesthetic they are building for themselves, 'Younger Heart' makes for an incredibly inviting listen. With its soaring energy and stellar vocals layered throughout, they continue to shine as one of the more impactful names on the rise right now.’ – Flexmusicblog
‘You definitely get a sense of the emotion that has been put into this song and the large instrumental doesn't take away from the lyrical message. In a way the Scottish heavy vocal with the powerful indie instrumentals reminds me of artists like Chvrches, who I also think are great with nailing emotion fuelled tracks.’ - metalrosemedia.
Heartland Festival's Artist Liaison, Marion McDonald, said "Everyone was talking about Copper Lungs across the whole weekend and telling us that they just had to come back for 2025. They epitomise why we have the Discovery Stage as this is a perfect platform to showcase the hottest music Scotland has to offer. Another artist who could have easily found themselves on the Main Stage this year"
