Heartland Festival Signs Up To ‘Ask for Angela’ Initiative
by: Simon Clark
The safety and wellbeing of everyone attending Heartland Festival has always been incredibly important to us.
We are pleased to announce that Heartland Festival has officially signed up to the national ‘Ask for Angela’ initiative ahead of the festival in 2026.
‘Ask for Angela’ is a discreet safeguarding scheme used across the UK in bars, venues, festivals and hospitality settings. If someone attending the festival feels unsafe, vulnerable or uncomfortable at any point during the weekend, they can approach a member of our team and “Ask for Angela” to receive help and support discreetly.
Our staff and welfare teams will be briefed on the initiative as part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, welcoming and family-friendly environment for everyone attending Heartland Festival.
More information about the initiative can be found by visiting the official Ask for Angela website.
