We are moving... a few miles down the road!
We are delighted to announce that from 2027 onwards, the festival will move to a new home in Ballinluig, Perthshire — just 4.8 miles south of our current home in Pitlochry. This move marks a significant milestone for us, since we launched in 2024, and we have quickly become one of Scotland’s fastest-growing live music events. This decision has been driven by the increasing demand for improved infrastructure, camping facilities, parking and additional visitor amenities, while ensuring that we remain proudly rooted in Perthshire.
Our new site at Ballinluig allows us to introduce dedicated camping and a glamping village, space for motorhomes and campervans, a larger car park and improved accessibility for festivalgoers travelling from across Scotland and beyond. Our relocation down the A9 is not about moving away from the local area but instead creating a more rounded and affordable long-weekend experience for everyone.
With your amazing support and as the festival continues to grow, we know there’s been a real demand for camping, better parking and more affordable ways for people to stay for the full weekend. Moving to Ballinluig allows us to provide that whilst still keeping Heartland proudly local and rooted in Perthshire.
Even as we expand the facilities available at the festival, our ethos of creating a family-friendly community-style festival will remain in place.

Is the camping priced on the size of my tent and number of people??
No. We have plenty of space for Heartland 27. You are paying for the camping pitch.
Who's headlining in 2027?
This is always a popular question and we can confirm that we are already making excellent progress for our 2027 lineup. We have secured one headliner and should know more in the coming months about the full lineup. Stay tuned!
When will the Super Early Bird offer end?
In-line with our announcement about the move to Ballinluig, we decided we could also offer a very limited number of tickets for the festival and accommodation options. When they are gone, they are gone.
Will you be selling VIP tickets?
No. We still firmly believe that everyone is VIP. We see no reason for that to change.
How much parking do you have?
We can accommodate up to 3,000 cars but we would still suggest you secure your space when you get your tickets. There is a separate parking area for ONE car if you are staying on-site with us.
Will you have showers?
Yes. We will be operating a Pay-As-You-Go shower facility for everyone. If you are staying in the glamping village, these are included in the pricing.
How can I get from Pitlochry to Ballinluig?
For 2027, we have put on a continuous shuttle bus which will take you from the centre of town to the festival and back again. See our tickets page here for pricing.
How do I book to stay in the Glamping Village?

Can I bring my dog into the campsite?
Yes, 100%. We will remain dog friendly but, the usually rules apply for dogs being on a lead at all times. Read our T&C's when booking for clarification.
