Before you panic, we are not changing our policy on dogs being able to attend the Heartland Festival in 2025.

In fact, it’s quite the opposite because we are a family friendly music festival and dogs can play a massive part in the family. We just wanted to drop you a little reminder to those who are booking their tickets online and panning to bring their best friend along. (By ‘best friend’, we are referring to the four-legged ones here!).

We do have some conditions though because, like any event, you’d expect this to be the case.

Let’s take a look:

• Your dog is your responsibility at all times. 
• Your dog is not permitted in the bar area or around the food vendors. 
• Please please please ensure you promptly clean up after your dog has been to the toilet. (Bring bags!)
• Your dog must be kept on a lead at all times. (Very important!)
• We have a ‘no food or drink to be brought in‘ policy but this does not apply to snacks/food for your dog.
• Your dog must be well behaved at all times and in the event of any aggression, you and your dog may be asked to leave. 

There will be a water drinking station at the entrance if you and/or your dog is feeling a little thirsty.

You are more than welcome to share a photo of you and your dog and post it to your social media and don’t forget to tag @theheartlandfestival in the post.
