Deltamanic Return to Heartland—This Time on the Main Stage
by: Simon Clark
We’re delighted to announce that Deltamanic will return to Heartland on Sunday 27 June 2027, this time performing on the Main Stage.
The six-piece funk and soul band from Alloa first joined us on the Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage in 2025. Since then, they have continued to go from strength to strength, building their audience and completing their own sold-out tour.
Formed in 2021 by frontman Dean Oliver and a group of childhood friends, Deltamanic bring together guitars, vocals, bass, drums and keyboard. Their sound is rooted in the funk, soul and disco music of the 1970s and 1980s.
Following the release of their breakthrough single, Midas Touch, in June 2026, the band have continued to establish themselves on the UK funk and soul scene. Their music has drawn comparisons to Average White Band, Gerry Rafferty, Paul Weller and Jamiroquai.
Deltamanic have developed a reputation for energetic live performances, playing venues including King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, McChuills and Room 2 in Glasgow, as well as festivals including Belladrum Tartan Heart and Party at the Palace.
In September 2026, the band signed a deal with New York-based label Notes From the Underground Records, allowing their catalogue and future releases to be distributed through The Orchard.
After welcoming them to the Discovery Stage two years ago, we’re looking forward to seeing Deltamanic make the move up to the Main Stage at Heartland 27.
