Here’s one you’re going to love. We’re thrilled to announce that The Skids will be joining the Heartland Festival 2026 main stage line-up!

Formed in Dunfermline in 1977 by Stuart Adamson and Richard Jobson, The Skids were part of a wave of bands that changed the sound of British music forever. With hits like Into the Valley, The Saints Are Coming, and Working for the Yankee Dollar, their songs became iconic — covered by the likes of U2 and Greenday, and still heard in football stadiums around the world today.

Fast forward to now: after a No.1 album release, a sell-out UK tour, and a renewed burst of energy, The Skids are back and sounding better than ever.
