Introducing Ruvellas – Performing on Saturday 27 June 2026 on the Scottish Citylink Discovery Stage

Hailing from Dundee, Ruvellas have been building serious momentum since emerging in 2017, blending indie rock and indie pop into a bold, high-energy sound that’s quickly capturing attention across Scotland. The four-piece — lead singer and rhythm guitarist Aiden Stuart, lead guitarist Lewis O’Farell, bassist Ben Gowans and drummer Ali Ferguson — bring a dynamic chemistry that fuels every performance.

Ruvellas have already earned impressive accolades, including appearances at Belladrum Festival and the Isle of Wight Festival, as well as a standout main support slot with The Snuts at a sold-out Fat Sam’s. Their rise has been fuelled by powerful, guitar-driven anthems and live shows known for their intensity, musicianship and raw rock ’n’ roll spirit. It’s little surprise they are fast becoming one of Scotland’s most exciting emerging guitar bands.

In 2025, the band released their much-anticipated debut EP Modern Way Of Loving, reaching number 13 on the Scottish Album Chart. Mixing brand-new tracks with established fan favourites, the EP showcases the band’s signature blend of britpop influence, soulful vocals and thunderous riffs — all wrapped around honest reflections on relationships and modern life.
