Terms & Conditions (Bus Tickets)

  • If possible, Please Have your tickets pre-printed or clearly visible on your device to show the driver upon boarding. You will need two tickets if using the shuttle bus from the campsite to the festival and for the return trip.
  • All tickets must be pre-purchased, tickets will not be sold on the bus.
  • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets can only be used for the specific time slots for which they were booked. They cannot be transferred to an alternative time.
  • Our buses are equipped with drop-lower facilities and grab rails for ease of access, but they do not have wheelchair access. If you require wheelchair access, please contact us at hello@heartlandfestival.co.uk with your preferred time slot and we will try to accommodate you.
  • Passengers are legally required to wear the seat belts provided. Seat belts must be worn at all times while the bus is in motion.
  • Tickets must be purchased for all travelling by the shuttle buses, including all children. Children aged 5 years or older must have their own seat and ticket. If a child under 5 years occupies a seat, a car seat is required.
  • Each passenger is allowed to bring one small backpack. No food or drink allowed in to the festival. (Please refer to Heartland Festival FAQ page) Larger items are not permitted.
  • Dogs are welcome on our buses. Where appropriate, dogs must be muzzled and kept on a lead in accordance with the Dangerous Dogs Act. Dogs must remain under control at all times and are not allowed to sit on the seats. Passengers bringing animals on board are responsible for any damage, loss, or injury caused by the animal.
  • Consumption of food and drink is not allowed on the bus.
  • Consumption of alcohol/drugs on the bus is prohibited. The driver has the right to refuse access onto the bus anyone who is under the influence of alcohol/drugs. If a person is refused access to the bus, they will not receive a refund and must make their own way back to the campsite.
    Bicycles and e-scooters are not permitted on the bus. Small prams and folded buggies may be carried, subject to space availability and the discretion of the driver.
  • Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is not permitted on the bus.
  • Passengers must behave respectfully, avoiding abusive or threatening behaviour, and must not cause offense to others.
  • Loud music or personal devices should not be played at a volume that disturbs other passengers and driver.
  • Passengers must not leave rubbish or discarded items on the bus. Soiled clothing or items that might stain the seats are not allowed.
  • If a passenger is sick on the bus, the driver must be alerted immediately. The bus will then be taken out of circulation until such time as the bus has been cleaned.
  • Passengers must follow the instructions of the bus staff at all times and show due regard for the safety and comfort of other passengers and staff.
  • In the event of an emergency, such as an injury while boarding, travelling or disembarking the bus, passengers should notify the driver, safely, immediately. Talking to the driver while the bus is moving or distracting the driver is prohibited except in emergencies.
  • Interfering with bus equipment is not allowed.
  • There are NO toilet facilities on the bus.

    We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any passenger from the bus if their behaviour compromises the safety, security, or comfort of others.

    By using our shuttle bus service, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply will result in refusal of service or ejection from the bus without refund.
