About Bow Anderson

In the last year or so, Bow Anderson has taken her positive sound into increasingly unguarded but ultimately empowering territory. She first burst onto the scene with ‘Sweater’, earning widespread plaudits and millions of streams despite dropping the very day the world went into lockdown.

‘Sweater’ only hinted at the drive and stoic spirit that’s always been integral to Bow: as a teenager she trained in competitive trampolining, working with gymnasts who would go on to be part of Team GB before a freak accident threatened her ability even to walk, least of all compete. As her body went through rehabilitation Bow found her voice, moving to London and throwing it all into her formative music.

A breakthrough came with viral hit ‘20s’, which Bow uploaded on Christmas Eve but blew up with support across Radio 1, Spotify’s Viral Charts,

millions of TikTok views & 30 weeks on the German Airplay charts. Since then, Anderson has scooped the Best Pop Act prize at the prestigious Scottish Music Awards, supported the likes of Mimi Webb, Tom Walker and Ella Eyre, and collaborated with MTV and Adidas Originals. She recently made the news with standalone track ‘12 Minute Walk’, addressing the daily dangers of commuting as a woman: released on International Women’s Day, Bow teamed up for an activation with Strutsafe, a hotline for other women walking alone at night.
