Getting to and from the festival
Here's our guide and options available for travelling to The Heartland Festival and getting home.
By Train
Pitlochry enjoys a mainline train station which is a quarter of a mile from the festival. The postcode for the train station is PH16 5AN.

By Bus
Both Flixbus and Citylink use Pitlochry as part of their excellent timetable, stopping at Fishers Hotel and departing from The Old Mill, and are within walking distance of the festival. Buses run every hour and arrive before and after the festival finishes. Linking you to Inverness and Broxburn, with links to Dundee and Aberdeen and south bound to Dunfermline and Edinburgh and west bound to Stirling and Glasgow. Seats are limited so we advise you book well in advance using the links below. By Air
The nearest airport to Pitlochry is Dundee but with limited service. We recommend you consider Edinburgh airport which is 60 miles away and Glasgow airport which is 75 miles away. Both carry extensive domestic routes with easyJet, Ryanair and national carriers.

By Car
Pitlochry is easily accessible from the main A9 trunk road with access junctions for both north and southbound traffic.
We recommend booking our own parking which is adjacent to the festival and offers quick access to the A9.
There are designated drop off and collection points which can be located at The Fishers Hotel and The Old Mill Inn which are on Atholl Road, Pitlochry PH16 5BN.
